Scenes from the USAID Innovation Marketplace

Sep 22, 2014

On September 18-19, 2014, USAID hosted the 2014 Frontiers in Development Conference. This year's event aimed to engage a dynamic community of global thought leaders and development practitioners to address the question: How will we eradicate extreme poverty by 2030? Speaker presentations and demonstrations focused on how innovation and technology can be brought to bear on eradicating extreme poverty. During both days of the conference, visitors could browse the Innovation Marketplace, featuring dynamic exhibits and an Innovation Stage to showcase new ideas for reaching and aiding the extreme poor and to engage participants in more intimate problem-solving settings.

USAID's Learning Lab participated in the Marketplace by sharing how USAID staff and partners are using technology and innovative thinking to develop more robust approaches to collaborating, learning, and adapting. Below are some scenes from the event.
