Event Description
Preparations for the World Humanitarian Summit in 2016 are now picking up pace. In preparation for the summit, ALNAP, in partnership with the WHS Secretariat and USAID, will convene a Global Forum for Improving Humanitarian Action.
The event will review the parameters of and challenges to the effectiveness of humanitarian action and present several key propositions for change and improvement. This analysis will draw on the emerging findings from the forthcoming ALNAP State of the System Report 2015 and other sources, providing the most current and comprehensive assessment of the effectiveness of humanitarian action.
