About this seminar:
"It can be overwhelming when we see all the learning that's happening all over USAID – it's happening in Washington, in missions, at different levels, timeframes and scales. We need to figure out how to bring it into useful focus, how to talk about it, how make comparisons, and how to make sense of the successes and obstacles we observe."
— Nancy White, Full Circle Associates
John D. Smith, of Learning Alliances, and Nancy White, of Full Circle Associates, presented a simple model for unpacking the learning already taking place, and how to use it in staff's everyday work. With examples from inside and outside USAID, they offered a strategy for organizing and putting learning to work. Participants were encouraged to bring their stories and observations about how they saw learning in their work today.
