Please join the USAID's Office of the CIO Knowledge Management Reference Group and the Office of Learning, Evaluation, & Research in the Bureau of Policy, Planning, & Learning on Wednesday, May 7 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. EDT for a discussion on "Managing Online Communities".
Online communities are increasingly used in daily work to allow us to share and collaborate with others. Do you know if you need a web-based platform for your project? What happens when an online community ends and it’s necessary for it to go to the ‘community in the sky’ or for it to be archived? Rozanne Larsen (PPL/LER), Allison Watts (M/CIO/KM), and Aileen Marshall (M/CIO/KM) will share their experiences working with various online communities, including their successes and challenges. In addition, they will highlight steps to begin an online community and strategies for its continued growth and cultivation.
