USAID Training: Winning USAID Contracts Workshop. The three-day workshop will cover all critical steps of winning a USAID contract: budget, research, preparation, field assessment, milestones, technical and cost proposals and discussions. Relevant FAR and AIDAR clauses for technical proposals, cost proposals and evaluations will be covered. Gain practical advice from a USAID Contracting Officer to successfully prepare, write and negotiate a winning contract--the first time. The three-day workshop will use a relevant USAID contract solicitation, walking participants through each page of the solicitation, explaining relevant clauses, how to understand and apply them in developing proposals. Participates will have ample time to ask questions and will receive the course manual.
