I recently met a colleague who had just returned from the Countering Wildlife Trafficking training in South Africa. He thought the training was great but was confused as to why it was gender blind. Men and women have very different roles in supporting and enabling wild life trafficking (whether as procurers or buyers).  Aren't all USAID training events supposed to have gender considerations integrated into the content?
