Description

In 2015, USAID/E3’s Office of Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment commissioned a study on gender integration in 117 evaluations of projects related to the E3 technical sectors.  These evaluations were published between January 2013 and September 2014. The study built on the findings of the E3 Sectoral Synthesis of 2013 – 2014 by focusing on the integration of gender into various aspects of project design and implementation, as well as outputs and outcomes focusing on gender equality and women’s empowerment, as reported in the evaluation reports. This study provides staff working in E3 technical sectors and the broader development community with examples of gender integration and sector-specific gender results that are relevant to their work, drawing upon all 10 E3 technical sectors.
