Nepal Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Project
CAMRIS International’s USAID Nepal Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Project supports the achievement of USAID/Nepal’s CDCS development objectives by assisting the Mission in planning, designing, conducting, disseminating and learning from more rigorous monitoring and evaluation of development activities. This includes designing and implementing both quantitative and qualitative evaluations and assessments, as well as providing expert analysis and technical assistance to USAID/Nepal’s programs. The Contract will also support the Mission to measure the effectiveness of its efforts to promote gender equality and inclusion of persons with disabilities, LGBTI individuals, and historically disadvantaged caste and ethnic groups. USAID/Nepal will use the products and deliverables from this contract to (a) facilitate informed program management, (b) shape the longer-term strategic direction of programs and decision-making within the Mission, and (c) enable USAID/Nepal to comply with Agency accountability and M&E requirements.
The Nepal MEL Project has developed this group to provide USAID Nepal Mission and implementing partner staff with useful resources to support their daily MEL and knowledge management activities in Nepal. The group contains a moderated forum under “Discussions” for the community to exchange knowledge about implementing MEL and collaborating, learning, and adapting approaches in international development. This space is designed for user-driven content and discussion among Learning Lab members, USAID and implementing partner staff. Here, you can share knowledge and experiences, post questions related to the USAID Program Cycle, and engage with CAMRIS’ MEL Team, USAID staff and implementing partners.
