Event Description

Please join us for this Microlinks seminar, as we explore how the Local Enterprise and Value Chain Enhancement (LEVE) Project has successfully utilized an adaptive management approach to meet ambitious project goals while operating in an environment of political instability, low trust, limited capabilities, and resource constraints.

Designed to revive Haiti’s food and economic security following the 2010 earthquake, the LEVE project was tasked with creating more inclusive and productive value chains supported by a productive labor pool with relevant skills and competencies in three sectors: agribusiness, construction, and apparel.

Through its adaptive management approach, LEVE has successfully balanced contractual due diligence with engaging in complex activities and approaches around high potential value chains, market facilitation, systemic change, flexible and integrated approaches, development of local capacity, contributions to USAID FORWARD and multi-stakeholder engagement.
