Monitoring and Evaluation for Adaptive Management: 8 Promising Practices

In 2015 the Office of Learning, Evaluation, and Research began the Complexity-Aware M&E (C-AM&E) Initiative to learn about using, supporting, and spreading innovative M&E solutions. The C-AM&E initiative supported four trials of C-AM&E approaches by USAID Missions and Implementing Partners. Preliminary findings from the trials reveal far reaching promising practices which can be useful as USAID staff plan; design and commission; refine design; and manage, implement, and use M&E.
