Three Ways to Use the New CLA Evidence Dashboard

Jul 24, 2018

We’re very pleased to announce the release of the Collaborating, Learning and Adapting (CLA) Evidence Dashboard!

The CLA Evidence Dashboard organizes all of the evidence about how and under what conditions CLA impacts organizational effectiveness and development outcomes. This one-stop, easy-to-use tool gives users a holistic understanding of the evidence and how they may apply in their work.

Here are three ways you can use the CLA Evidence Dashboard in your work:

1. Explore the Evidence

Have you ever found yourself searching for hours to find a study about the impact of pause & reflect on performance outcomes? Or a case study on the role that feedback loops can play in development aid? Now, you can use the CLA Evidence Dashboard to search for studies and cases organized by the subcomponents of the CLA Framework and by sector. By exploring the evidence for yourself, you can discover the studies and cases that demonstrate the impact of CLA, the limitations of these studies, and the gaps in the research conducted regarding CLA. Take a look at this blog post for more tips on how to actually help your team use and reflect on evidence to inform decision-making.

2. Contribute to the Evidence

Have you come across a study or case about CLA that has been useful to you that isn’t included in the CLA Evidence Dashboard? Are you already working to measure the impact of CLA-related practices in your work or at your institution? If so, contribute relevant studies or your work to the evidence we’ve gathered regarding CLA in our CLA Evidence Dashboard.

3. Apply the Evidence

Are you a CLA champion looking to apply evidence-based CLA practices in your work? Or would you like to make the case to your colleagues or leadership about the evidence in support of CLA? Use the CLA Evidence Dashboard to learn more about the evidence regarding CLA’s impact and apply what you learn in the work with your team.

To learn more about the Evidence Base for CLA (EB4CLA) effort, take a look at our blogs, briefs, and summaries about the ways in which we and others are measuring the impact of CLA on organizational effectiveness and development outcomes.
