Learning and Collaboration: DNA for Next-Generation Agricultural Research
The case presents the learning and collaboration as well as adoption experiences of the Africa RISING program, with a specific focus on the Ethiopian highlands project. As a research-for-development project, learning and collaboration is in the DNA of Africa RISING. Thus, to achieve the different results, the project uses a combination of collaboration, learning, and adapting approaches. The case takes a deep dive into the mixed CLA approaches the project used and the results so far.
This case study was submitted as part of USAID's CLA Case Competition, held in August 2015. This collection of examples illustrate the diversity of ways collaborating, learning, and adapting approaches are being operationalized in the field.
