During the first annual Local Capacity Strengthening (LCS) Policy Learning and Feedback Forum in 2023, USAID asked partners and staff what shifts in practices the LCS Policy calls for. The session explored the shifts in roles and actions needed to implement the last four principles of the LCS Policy focused on equitable partnerships. The "Making the Shift" tool summarizes four shifts mentioned by USAID partners and provides accompanying resources and tools to help USAID staff and partners to make these shifts.
